The number one predictor of your success in life is your level of self-esteem. The more you love yourself the more empowered you are. The more you believe in yourself the faster you move through problems and the easier it is to change unwanted habits or beliefs. The more you love yourself the more beautiful, calm, and satisfying your physical space will become. Your home will express the love you are becoming on the inside.
All the good things you imagine for yourself are possible. They're just waiting for you to believe that you are worthy to have them. That is the gate that you have to open.
The good news is that you are worthy. You deserve well-being, love, joy, abundance, good health, and a peaceful, inspiring home. You deserve all of that just by the nature of your existence.
But in the limited perspective of our minds and our unhealthy beliefs, we sometimes struggle to believe that. Past trauma, disappointments, regrets, and fear about the future all keep us from trusting our ability to make good decisions and create a good life. Our beliefs about ourselves often keep us from experiencing the benefits of a deeper self-love.

You know from experience that when you feel heavy and down you don't engage in much. You typically don't have the energy to take on a household project or even do regular chores like the mail, laundry, or cleaning. But you've also noticed that when you feel happy and optimistic you tend to get a lot done. The more you learn to love yourself the happier, more energetic, and productive you are. Suddenly that pile of laundry doesn't seem so daunting.
And then, sometimes even after you start feeling better you still have difficulty being consistent with tasks that need doing. You may struggle because you're neurodivergent or you just never learned good organizing habits, but the ability to stay on track and create new behavioral patterns is routed in the ability to self-love. Love is the greatest energizer.
Self-love is a skill that requires practice. The more you embrace it, the more it flourishes. Even taking a small step toward loving yourself more carries significant energy. Self-love is the key to both immediate and lasting changes in your home.
This is the first of an eight-part series designed to empower you on your self-love journey. I'll be sharing aspects of neuroscience, psychology, the body/mind connection, and spirituality to encourage you and offer some practical tools to help you learn to see yourself in a different way.
As you learn to love yourself more you will see your inner and outer world transform.
