-
Overwhelmed with piles of your kids’ school and art papers?
-
Paralyzed with indecision and guilt because you don’t know how to decide what to keep and what to throw away?
-
Frustrated because you can’t find important papers and information?
-
Anxious because you see the piles taking up more and more space?
The Treasure Keeper System is a method to help you corral your kids’ school and art papers as they come in, easily and guiltlessly decide what to keep for the future, and how to house and organize the real treasures.
It’s about understanding why you feel like you need to hang on to that A+ essay, that crayon drawn Mother’s Day card, or that science project, and giving you practical and painless ways to evaluate what’s important to you, so you can feel empowered to make decisions that feel good - to you and your kids.

And, by the way, it’s ok to keep stuff!
The problem is you can’t keep everything. So, you need a way to decide that brings balance to your home, both now and in the future.
The Treasure Keeper System isn’t just another paper organizational system
like you’ve tried before.
The Treasure Keeper System is about developing a mental strategy to help you move guilt-free and quickly through the decision-making process.
The power of The Treasure Keeper System is the process combined with a physical system of recommended containers geared to your family’s unique needs.

I am a recovering over-keeper. My daughter is now 25, but when she was young, I kept way too much.
-
I kept things because they touched my heart.
-
Things that showed how smart she was.
-
Things that I thought she would want to look back at as she got older.
-
I even kept samples of her handwriting to document her sensory processing and neurodivergent development.
There were a lot of papers. And that was just one kid.
Moving into a smaller home was a wake-up call. I just didn’t have the space to store the papers. That was my first round of editing. There have been several edits since then, and each has taught me something about myself and the process of deciding what’s important.
In 2017, I started my own professional organizing business. Since then, I have worked with so many families that had this same issue.
Loose papers on countertops, stuffed in boxes in closets, and under beds.
Not being able to find the important stuff.
Living with a general sense of stress and chaos on a daily basis.
Then there were the older clients who still had all their kids’ paperwork thirty+ years later. Boxes in the guest room closet, the garage, or the attic. They were so burdened down with papers.
At some point, someone has to go through all those papers. Argh, and yuk. The longer the papers have accumulated, the more of a beat down it is.
If they had had a system of dealing with things when their kids were young, they would have had less to carry into their future.
That’s why I created The Treasure Keepers System. As a way to deal with papers in real time, in a meaningful way. No guilt. No regrets.
Why is the Treasure Keeper System so powerful?

It's so important to have an intent to model positive behavior, no matter how old your kids are.
The Treasure Keeper System provides the framework to not only teach your kids healthy keeping habits, but give yourself the tools to make decisions when it feels hard.

And, this system can be a lovely catalyst for some special family moments.

I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to bring order and meaning to your kids' piles of papers

You won't regret it!
